Been a huge fan of Bump in the Night since it was first aired on TV, I had so many nightmares about the show growing up, perhaps more than any other show. I think it just really inspired my brain, I know it had a big effect on the way I perceive things in numerous ways. I always adored Molly and the Closet Monster, though I adored all the characters from the show, they were my favorite pairing. I thought it was so sweet how she tried to tame the mighty closet beast and it almost worked. As a child I always wanted him as a pet.

Anyhow, THE ART. Boogle as Molly Coddle and Closet Monster as... himself. xB I'm not totally satisfied with the composition, but it's too late now as :iconscythemantis: is already coloring it (he inked it beside me last night on his laptop and it is looking great!). I'd give anything for an accurate model of the Closet Monster, I wish I could find more photos of him.

Oh and HOORAY I finally hooked up the scanner I got for Christmas 8D

I seem to be quite rambly tonight.

Cool I have the whole series of this show on DVD I loved it ever since I was little I remember watching it on Toon Disney.
The Closet Monster looks a little bit like Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Odd that I don't have an real memories of watching this show but I remember Closet Monster. Anyways this looks lovely as usual Boogles doll form is absolutely adorable.

I remember the episode where Molly tried to comfort the closet monster. Best of intentions but never quite worked. I always did like the up-turned basket he had as a shell.

Odd thing to comment on, I know- but the little "eye hair ties" or decorative rings on her pigtail strands are genius. And awesome. I wish I had some! :D
